Die Partnerschaft sichert die Zukunft des Werks in Valencia, schafft langfristige Stabilit\u00e4t und er\u00f6ffnet Potenzial f\u00fcr zus\u00e4tzliche Arbeitspl\u00e4tze in der Region.<\/strong> <strong>Das Werk in Valencia wird eine neue Generation von Fahrzeugen mit niedrigen und null Emissionen f\u00fcr den europ\u00e4ischen Markt produzieren.<\/strong><br><br>Das Joint Venture soll ab 2028 drei Ford-Modelle mit Multi-Energy-Antrieben sowie zwei vollelektrische Geely-Modelle fertigen.<br>Die Zusammenarbeit beschleunigt die Expansion von Geely Auto in Europa und unterst\u00fctzt gleichzeitig Fords Produktoffensive auf dem europ\u00e4ischen Markt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Valencia (Spanien), 23.07.2026 \u2013 Geely Holding und die Ford Motor Company haben heute eine Vereinbarung zur Gr\u00fcndung eines auf Europa ausgerichteten Joint Ventures (JV) am Ford-Produktionsstandort Valencia in Spanien bekannt gegeben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Das Joint Venture wird die industrielle St\u00e4rke beider Unternehmen vereinen, um ein wettbewerbsf\u00e4higes Portfolio an Fahrzeugen mit unterschiedlichen Antriebstechnologien f\u00fcr die Marken Geely Auto und Ford zu realisieren. Die in Valencia produzierten Modelle sind gezielt auf die Bed\u00fcrfnisse europ\u00e4ischer Kundinnen und Kunden ausgerichtet und leisten zugleich einen wichtigen Beitrag zur wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung der Region. Vorbehaltlich der erforderlichen beh\u00f6rdlichen Genehmigungen soll das Joint Venture seine Gesch\u00e4ftst\u00e4tigkeit in der ersten H\u00e4lfte des Jahres 2027 aufnehmen. Die ersten neuen Fahrzeuge sollen ab 2028 vom Band laufen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Das Joint Venture wird das Ford-Werk in Almussafes (Valencia, Spanien) \u2013 bereits heute eines der produktivsten und technologisch fortschrittlichsten Automobilwerke Europas mit einer potenziellen Jahreskapazit\u00e4t von rund 500.000 Fahrzeugen \u2013 zu einem gemeinsamen Hightech-Produktionsstandort weiterentwickeln. Durch die Optimierung der Werksauslastung und die gemeinsame Nutzung von Entwicklungsressourcen st\u00e4rkt die Partnerschaft die operative Effizienz und schafft langfristige Stabilit\u00e4t sowie Besch\u00e4ftigungsperspektiven f\u00fcr die hochqualifizierte Belegschaft in Valencia. Nach der geplanten Eigent\u00fcmerstruktur wird Geely Auto 34 Prozent und Ford 66 Prozent des neuen Unternehmens halten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Geely Auto plant, zwei New-Energy-Modelle im Werk Valencia zu produzieren. Das erste Fahrzeug soll 2028 vom Band laufen. Das Joint Venture unterst\u00fctzt die internationale Wachstumsstrategie von Geely Auto, nachdem das Unternehmen im ersten Halbjahr 2026 insgesamt 474.228 Fahrzeuge au\u00dferhalb Chinas verkauft hat \u2013 ein Plus von 158 Prozent gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahreszeitraum. Damit z\u00e4hlt Geely Auto zu den am schnellsten wachsenden chinesischen Automobilmarken weltweit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Die Partnerschaft zwischen Geely Holding und Ford basiert auf einer langj\u00e4hrigen Vertrauensbasis, die bis ins Jahr 2010 zur\u00fcckreicht, als Ford Volvo Cars an Geely verkaufte und das Unternehmen die Marke erfolgreich weiterentwickelte und st\u00e4rkte. Beide Unternehmen verbindet das gemeinsame Verst\u00e4ndnis f\u00fcr h\u00f6chste Qualit\u00e4tsstandards, eine kostenoptimierte Beschaffung sowie kontinuierliche Verbesserungsprozesse.
